Dan Bacal has been a trial attorney in Ohio and
California for over 20 years. His practice has concentrated on
personal injury litigation and criminal defense litigation. Mr.
Bacal's philosophy as a trial attorney is to aggressively
represent the rights of his clients who have been injured or
accused of a crime. He attempts to settle cases without trial if
that is in the best interest of the client. If settlement is not
possible, Mr. Bacal will go to trial on behalf of his clients.
He has tried many cases in the more than 20 years he has been a
trial lawyer.
About Dan Bacal
Dan Bacal received his undergraduate degree
from Ohio State University in 1974. He received his law degree
from Ohio State University in 1977.
Mr. Bacal has been admitted to practice in Ohio (inactive) since
1977 and California since 1980.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Bacal began working for a
law firm in Columbus, Ohio with an office in New York City. In
addition to handling criminal and personal injury cases, he also
handled labor cases and represented professional associations.
In 1980, Mr. Bacal moved to San Diego and he became an associate
with Jacoby & Meyers for approximately two years. Before leaving
that firm, he headed up their personal injury department in San
Diego.
Since 1982, Mr. Bacal has been a sole practitioner with offices
in El Cajon and San Diego. His practice has concentrated on
personal injury and criminal defense litigation.
Mr. Bacal also sits as a judge
pro tem in the El Cajon Municipal Court.
Legal Fees
The initial consultation is free. Personal
injury cases are handled on a contingent fee basis. Criminal
cases are charged on an hourly fee and flat fee basis. Visa and
MasterCard are accepted.
